Not really related jobs so I seriously doubt there would be any savings.
My 2cents is if you are in an area with some good TDI people....use them for learning about your car and doing big things like timing belts.
And what if you are not in an above said area....

Turbo is located on the back of the engine.
Timing belt is on the left side of the engine.
No connection between the two.
Assuming you are standing in front, look at the engine bay.
Yes, state where you are and have a skilled member here do you timing belt when the time comes.
