diesel lookup website

Does anyknow know how long it takes for a tdi that's had the fix to show up on the www.vwdiesellookup.com website? I'm thinking of buying a car that appears to qualify for the fix payout but I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger...

3.0s have been pretty unreliable. A lot of people reported that they got their car fixed and website showed NO FIX for weeks.

You can buy a tdi and get a payout to get the car fixed?

weeks? wow i thought the site was maybe 24-48hrs lagged but not weeks.

if its at an audi dealership you can bet they will fix it before sale. if its not:
1. ask your salesperson to take a picture of the underside of the hood to see if it has the fix stickers.
2. take the vin and ask a service person at an Audi dealership very nicely to check if its been fixed

Any method is not reliable. Buy the car if you want it regardless of the extra payout status. If you get it count yourself lucky. If not you got the car you wanted.
