Vag-Com Discussion area anyone?

First I apologise for posting here, but I didn't really know where else to post this.
After fumbling around for simple, I mean really simple instructions on the use of the vagcom and a real desire to mess with my car, and after searching all over the forums.....I discovered, much to my surprise no information or how to's,like how to kill the running lights, work with the sound system etc. at all! Is there a area here on Fred's site that gives straight forward how to's, and a list of what can be done with this amazing tool?

To kill your DRL's, either remove Relay 173 or cover the "TFL" pins on the headlight switch with tape.

You can check out the vag-com yahoo group. They have a lot of posts there. The majority of the engine posts are from people who own gassers so it doesn't really help us much. However, there is still a lot of information to be had there.
