Swap cr170 euro into my 2012 jetta tdi

Hello im new in the forum ... I want have some aid ... I swap a cr170 from a euro scirocco gtd in my jetta tdi 2012 and i have 2 problem ... The first one is my glow plug doesnot worl and the second the cruise control doesnot work ... A cannot detect the module of the cruise control in the steering ... Some people can help me to find the solution ?

Would it have not been easier to just swap the turbo from a CR 170 rather than the whole engine? I doubt the 170 is much or if any stronger than the CR140 engine. I know the Euro 140 and 170 are the same unit.

Could be wires pinched or damaged?
