I just got my vag, but after driving for a few minutes it loses connection with the controller, the only way to fix it is to shut off the computer and remove both usb plug in and car plug in. any advice???

I'm guessing this is because after a few minutes, your PC thinks you're not using it anymore and does nasty things. The new USB driver in the latest Beta may help, but I think the real fix is to tweak the power management settings on your PC.

Then check the mounting of the OBD-II socket in the car. It's possible something is interfering with your TWIN-USB getting properly seated on the OBD-II socket.

Also check the pins in the OBD-II socket. It's rare, but we've seen a few cars where the pins were not properly inserted in the socket, allowing them to receed and preventing good connections.
