Hi all,

I'm replacing Crankshaft Position Sensor.

Could someone look at my photos and verify I located the correct part?

Sensor is just right of oil filter.

Gray plug is just right of oil dip stick.

QUESTION: besides remove and replace, anything else I need to know. Will oil come out when sensor is removed?

This DIY seems to easy to pay mechanic $220.

Please let me know if there is a way to show the photo in post? I only see the links to photo.

yes, in the first picture is CPS, you need 9mm 12 points socket to loose the bolt. The engine oil will not come out when remove the CPS, you need new O-ring when put CPS back and don‘t over torque the bolt.

Thanks chz17. I should be good to go. Part ordered. And I checked...bolt not frozen.

Dealer needed me to show up in person to pay and order. Then of course return to pick up part. Total 2 hours drive. Stupid rabbit.....er, I mean, dealer. :)
