I'm coming up on 35k miles and I've been thinking about getting an extended warranty. Since VW does not offer extended warranties directly, what is a good 3rd party extended warranty to go with?
I do not want to go through my dealership since they make commission off of you.
TDI THIS,
VW offers a warranty called VW Drive Easy. They do not directly sell it, it is sold by their dealers.
I charge $300 over the cost.
It is written by VW, backed by VW, and has their insignia on the contract.
It is facilitated thru Fidelity Warranty Services.

The VW Drive Easy extended service contracts have changed as of Jan 01,2008
They have now combined the new car extension w/ the used car extension and
have come up w/ one main plan.
Now the time starts the day you sign up and the miles you choose are on top
of what you allready have!
They still have the same verbage in the new contract as far as coverages
that will be explained here:
