I was trying to disconnect a vacuum line from the controller (I don't know what it is) on the side of the manifold just below the EGR. The controller upens or closes the valve inside the intake manifold. The vacuum line came off but broke the nipple with it. Now I am unsure of what to do and how I can quickly replace or repair this piece. Any help is appreciated. I live in eastern Connecticut. If there is anyone in the area let me know.

Same thing happened to me. I used a a short piece of the red spray tube from a can od WD-40 as a sleeve, and superglued the nipple back together, never taking the hose off of it. Rest assured next time I'm going to cut the hose and put a connector in it!

Then I put some superglue on the end broken off in the hose, slid it on and held it in place until dry. Has worked for almost a year so far.

P.S. - don't know why pics weren't showing when I posted this...

Well, me too. My solution was to use a screw to remove the nipple from the rubber tube, then greased a small brad which I inserted through the broken parts, as I used epoxy to glue back together. Pulled nail out as glue was setting up. You can't buy just the vacuume actuator, you would have to buy the whole valve assembly.
