I'm really not a fan of the green/tan color combo. the fact that it's leather doesn't even matter. It's tan. I bought this GLX TDI almost 3 years ago and at the time it needed a starter but once I had it, kept finding stuff it needed then decided just to go through the entire car. Soon lost motivation for the aforementioned reason and behind my shop it has sat like a statue. With the work I did to it, I never made it out of the engine compartment. My plan was to pull the dash, do the blend door/heater core just because and see what else needed correcting since this is not a conversion I did. It was a look-at-this CL posting here on the boards and I went down the next day and snapped it up. Paid $500 and put about $400 worth of parts onto it. Now, I just want it GOOOOOONE to make room for better B4's
As you can see the timing belt relay roller is rusted, which at the time was new- it's been outside the whole time I've had it. No idea of the milage since the cluster will not display- it did when I got it and I believe it's in the 215,xxx neighborhood. I have no idea what milage the engine had at the time of conversion neither did the guy I bought it from. Mice have been making a home of the area by the ECM. Clean MA title in hand, signed only by the previous listed owner.
