David; I have talked to Mark(Owner of Wolfsburg VW repair in Boulder), he has mentioned that he could "possibly" help out...

Boulder would be a good place(imho) 'cause it is a kool place...

Anuthee has a shop in West Denver/Westminster area, hmmm, ideas?

I was thinking a restaurant somewhere in the metro area so we all could site down meet , eat a meal and talk about ideas . We don't have a lot of time on this so if we are going to do this it needs to be in the next week or so .

There are lot of resources in the state that I'm sure would be willing to sign on for this venture $$ . Casinos I know from my own experience with the local dart leagues are more than willing to sponsor a gathering like this . But we must meet to form a committee to delegate who goes after what to do this . Then we need to put the boots on the ground so to speak before we make a proposal to the TDIclub .

Will you be available during the day?
(are you in Denver?)

I'm in...and all of kerma.

We are title sponsors of dubs along the rockies dubsalongtherockies.com

This is a 1 day event on Sunday the week before Labor Day, planned for Colorado Springs Raceway I thought that a track day with driving instructors, or a trip to the Bandimere drag strip.

If the week before Labor day would work for members, I wondered if the two events might overlap and share some activities on Sunday. Then more VW fans could see what the TDI's bring to the mix

I think that we have to have a proposal in before October 24, 2008.

If people are really interested we should see if we can all get together on this and submit a proposal.

For the FEST to evolve and actually have it happen here in the "rockies", the persons interested NEED to come out NOW so we can all get togethere nad discuss the viability of having the FEST in our mountians...

The FEST here in COLORADO would be GREAT,
we all now that, we need to get it together NOW!

There is need for at least six(6) persons and better if is closer to ten(10).
