no cruize control and airbag light on

I recently replaced the turn signal switch assembly to fix the dimmer switch failure. since replacing the assembly, the cruise control light comes on when I turn the switch on but it still doesn't work. also the airbag trouble light is constantly on.
did I do something wrong?

Does your horn work? You didn't hook something up correctly. I would take it back apart and check each connection. A worse case sceneriao is that you broke your clock spring. However I'd sooner think you left it unplugged.

This does sound like a clock spring issue; hopefully just a bad connection.
