mud flap install on GSW

I got some mud flaps (or splash guards as VW likes to call them) to install on my 2015 GSW - It looks like I need to trim the wheel arch beading for proper fit. Can anyone confirm before i cut it?

Thanks,
Paul

Mine came with the splash guards from the factory and pretty sure that beading is not there. When my wife gets back with the car Ill double check

Thanks Mr. Wires.

I also read you should apply some 3m film protectant under the guard to avoid potential rust issues....

i have no bead at all on mine but guess you could cut yours to fit if you want to keep it.
