Dear all,
I hope everyone is healthy and safe.

The day has come... I have a golf 1.6tdi with cxxb engine code. GTD1449VZ 04L253010H is bought and ready to be installed.
I would like to know if anybody knows what exactly I am going to need for this installation!?

Thank you very much and remember keep safe!

Gasket kit and small hardware parts as nuts and bolts.
Oil and oilfilter need to be replaced, air filter also.
Oil feed line shall be replaced.

If you had a turbo failure it is vital to KNOW the initial reason for the failure and not just replace the turbo.

After installation perform an oil prime start, make sure the engine can not start e.g. by unplugging the fuel pump and give it 2-3 x starting over about 10-15 seconds.
This ensures the oil line is filled with oil beofre the first start.

Then start engine and let it idle while checking for any leaks.

Thank you very much for your answer.
Is it true that for removing the turbo dpf needs to be removed first!?

yes, there is not enough space to untighten all nuts or remove the turbo at all. be sure to have all tools
