loud side pillar sound

Recently, I've noticed a very loud sound coming from driver side pillar. It's equivalent to closing the door, that's how loud it is. It's mainly happens when I go thru large bumps/potholes. It's sounds rather nasty and I'm worried it could be something serious, maybe a defect. Has anyone ever experienced this?

The pillar door bolt that the door locks onto could be loose or out of adjustment.
Try lowering the window, close the door and try to lift the door(giggle) it up down by pushing on the upper frame. Also gram the door at the mid section and try to get it to go in and out. If you are able to repeat the sound easily it is probably out of adjustment.

Don't feel anything out of the ordinary. However, but I've noticed that the door makes a rattle when I shut it sometimes. Nevertheless, thanks for the information. I'm at 32k so I will have to take advantage of this matter rather soon. Take advantage of the dealer while I can
