2006 2.0 Tdi Cam Belt Change??

hi guys, a long with sorting out my caddy blue some problem, my GF mothers car is due its 1st timing belt change.. i have never changed belt on one of them before, but have changed other cam belts on different vehicles in the past, so do i need too look out for anythin? is there a how too on here? any advice would be great.

There are a couple of tools you need. The crank locking tool I got from here...

They also have the tensioner tool. The cam locking pin I made myself out of some 4mm steel but they do have it as well. No doubt there are places in Ireland that have the stuff as well.

The bolts on the crank damper are really tight. It is fairly straightforward if you follow the pdf and are careful. I would recommend using new engine mounting bolts and changing the water pump while you have it apart as well.
