When you've exhausted all available mods and look for more and there nothing else out there. So you take your old mods out and put them back in.

Obsessed?

...When you pass a B4V on the freeway and feel like boxing in the driver just to ask how many miles they have on it.

Some of us have it set in our profiles to view 100 posts per page. ;)

That makes this page 11. ;)

when you buy diesel fuel additive and measuring bottles for the additive before you get the car.
when you buy the service manual before you buy the car.
when you read the entire tdiclub faq and take extensive notes before you buy the car.
when you buy a pela 6000 before you buy the car.
when you STRONGLY consider buying the cat2 fuel filter and bypass oil filter before you buy the car.
when you leave the vag-com pluged in just so you can read coolant, boost etc. on long trips just for the hell of it and you find yourself slowing down in top gear so you can floor it to see how high the boost goes.:D

Be careful if you ever come to the UK, green are unleaded and black are diesel over here
I pulled into a new Hess or BP station. I looked for the green hose. I saw every pump had them. I thought damn! I got out took the fuel cap off and ALMOST put RUG in. The only reason I didn't was when I saw the price and thought wow that's cheap! I quickly found the diesel pump and drove over ot it.

A PD150 would be nice in an Eos. You'll know you're obsessed when you do the conversion.

Oh, and you know you're obsessed when you buy a Golf for autocross and track days. And you need the car so you can run as showroom stock and your other TDIs have too many mods.

When you start scouring the junkyards for diesel wabbits to resurrect.

When you start thinking about buying a 3rd tdi just so you can change it up a little bit on the 60 miles round trip to work.

The thought has crossed my mind. I'm thinking a 2.0 via a front end clip from Europe or find out what's involved in a 1.9 from an A5 ;)

Obssesed...
Hmmmmm. Yes, that's ME!

Obssesed when MPG is a way of life.

When driving three(3) days at a slow speed..., I can vouch for a ONE tank mileage of 1.500+ miles  !
(road trips thread)

Heck, I have a 1989 Jetta that may get the old 1Z from the '96 Variant with 285k...
and install a better(more HP) in its place :D !
(six speed anyone?)
