My cat decided to try to warm up by jumping up under my car and the belt came off does anyone know where I can find a diagram for this??

I'm assuming you have V6 TDI engine, correct? if so here is link to all about that engine and belt routing diagram is on page 15

It's simple to compress it down, just put ratchet on top of shock were there I'd square hole and slowly turn clockwise ratchet slowly.
