Towing mileage

Just comparing, we just did a trip with a bike on a trailer. total pull weight was about 800 lbs. mileage averaged 32mpg, average speeds

Pulled a bike on an aluminum bike trailer from Fairfax, va to Chicago last summer. 70 mph got 35 mpg probably close to the 750-800lbs mark.

You'd probably be surprised to know that a man on a bicycle has more drag than your car by itself. I am assuming this bike has similar to more frontal service area than that. Just a guess though as I can't see it.

The mileage drop was definitely drag, not the added weight.

2012 Ducati pinagale. Either way it's added weight and drag.

I trailered a couple bikes from Atlanta to Birmingham a couple months ago and got 31 mpg @ 70mph. probably 1200 lbs
