I called the parts department at my local dealer and they wanted $190 for the 6 speed manual set. I'm not sure if they really help with foot traction or not --- any insight would be appreciated.

I don't think they have anything to so with "traction". It's hard to beat just rubber for traction. I believe these aluminum pedals are all about looks. If the look is worth almost $200 to you, go for it. If your goal is traction, forget about it and buy some rubber soled shoes (they are a lot cheaper).

Have Fun!

They are for looks. I got them for my SE because they match the other trim and give it a more sporty look vs. the bland black pedals.

Ordered these off ebay for $43 shipped ...mainly for the looks. They do have a lot of rubber with all the nubs though.

Please forgive the dirty carpet....winter will be over in a few months :( ....
I didn't use the bolts provided for the throttle, used small screws instead because it's plastic.
The aluminum is thick and seems durable.
Did find out my dead pedal is not perfectly flat... but it works with a little bending to match.

Now I want black carpet like the Chinese version.

My car is still young, it hasn't grown in yet;). I had to master the clutch less shift while I wait for the third pedal to grow:eek:
