Jetta, MKV here. "Premium" radio supposedly. It has the VOLK-L Bluetooth in it and despite the fact that the manual says it ought to do streaming audio from my phone it does not. The manufacturer was ZERO help trying to figure out why. They wouldn't even answer emails.
So I've been using an outboard BT adapter connected to the AUX in and powered from a USB hub out of the cig lighter.
I was trying to make this a little more elegant by putting a Bluetooth Receiver designed for an iPod dock onto the end of the iPod cable in the glove box but the car doesn't seem to provide any power. No LEDs.
Has anybody slayed this problem who would care to share the solution (other than replacing the radio)?
