hey all...there are times after it's warm when the starter won't engage...only a slight clicking...but no power to the starter. When i come out in the morning it starts right up. Seems to be a temperature thing. My experience with relays and such are that they just go bad and that's it. Battery is new, put a load tester on it running and the alternator is fine. When it acts normally i get a strong starter turning the motor so the starter is good, it just isn't getting power when it's warmed up (sometimes)

thanks

Might be grounds, might be the B+ to the starter. Sometimes those will deteriorate with age, can be hard to detect.

Check the large pos. wire on the starter, the nut was loose on my wife car and would do that.

I replaced the nut (all arced up) and lock washer, problem gone. Under the little plastic cover
