Hi, I've been a long time lurker and been able to find most of my answers by searching but I can't seem to get a straight answer. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
I have a 2009 sport wagon and needed to change the trans and flywheel.
I got a 2014 trans and a luk dmf126 flywheel but now the starter isn't engaged properly. It's riding on the top edge and chewing the ring gear.
I got the starter form the 14 and it's the same as the 09
Luk says I need a dmf181 but I can't find any online or dimensions for it to try and track one down. I would assume the 181 would be about 10mm larger.
Vw can't do anything without a vin.
Any help would be appreciated
