I was curious, does anyone have any history with 506.01 in their B5.5 TDI? What does the oil analysis show for this engine?

I have just gotten my test kits from blackstones so I will be doing a sampling on my next change (2000 miles to go).

I have been using 506.01 since 10K miles and am now coming up on 28000. This was the second change. I will be tracking it on both of the Passats, so I will let everyone know.

Also using the ELF Evolution CRV 0w30

I just put Elf Evolution CRV 0-30w in mine, but was told that it has been discontinued. The 507 was recommended for the future, but this isn't 0-30w which I want for the winter.

Finding other brands of 506.01 is pretty difficult here in Ontario.

While my 2005 Passat TDI GLS is now turning 110,000 miles, I am still using Elf Evolution 0W-30 CRV 506.01 oil. I do not have any further oil analyses after 42,180 miles but I might send one in to see what the oil is doing at this 110,000 mile mark.
