Am a novice at wiring. Need power at shifter only when full lights are on.
Have a stick shift knob that is lite same color as dash. So where is the best to tap into. Only need at night.
Headlights on the fuse pannel or is there a easier way. Light switch?

Thank you

There is 12V positive, ground, and dash illumination at the front power outlet on most cars. Should be a grey wire with a stripe on it. Alternatively same wire is present to radio and blower switch.

Thanks for describing more eloquently what I was trying to convey.

Gray, brown and red with stripe. Red is ground.

Like <<<< that >>>>> Brown for ground! And, number 30 in the schematics is always a ground circuit!

Edit: >> 31,,,,,, not 30
