Shell V-Power Diesel?

I have used Shell diesel quite frequently and have only seen the V-Power related to premium octane gasoline.

Where is the Shell V-Power diesel I have seen references to on these forums?

Its the Premium Diesel sold at some Shell stations in Canada. Most Shell stations choose to carry only the regular grade diesel. I have seen it only a couple of times and since it carries a significant premium in pricing I have never felt the urge to try the V-Power Diesel.

i've tried it a few times and never felt any difference in performance or mileage. However, some tdi owners tell me it has an additional lubricant which is beneficial to the tdi engine.

Try it and post your results.

If you're interested enough to pursue V-Power, kindly ask the distributor to show you invoices of diesel delivery that prove it really IS V-Power he's selling.
In 2011 or 2012, I busted 3 or 4 BP stations in the DC area that advertised 45 and 47 cetane "Premium" diesel well after BP had discontinued the fuel...in fact, one station continued to post the 45 number a year after the fuel was no longer available.
