On a 2200 mile trip back from Idaho, I had some really strange stuff happen. We were driving down the highway at probably 75 and the engine shuts off. We pull to the side of the road (very sad I might add) leave the car set a minute, turn the key and starts back up no problem.
Well, it happened again, about 200 miles later, this time I quickly realized it is electrical. The first time I tried to start it the glow plug light did not come on, but the second time (after I waited a while) it did, thus the engine started.
Have you heard of this before? It is very concerning. Is there a switch that perhaps controls this?
