I'm getting ready to change the trans fluid in my '05 jetta wagon(5 spd)+was wondering about the differential fluid.Do both the trans+diff run in the same fluid?Thanx,Kurt

yes. differentials typically require GL-5 when separate from transaxle.
Don't use too low viscosity oil, though
