Two Golfs and one wagon in our driveway mean one of them has to go, so sadly, we are looking to part ways with our 2001 Golf that has been nicely appointed over the past few years.
SOLD!!
2001 Golf - West Coast car all it's life, with no visible external rust, plenty of goodies, and a whole lot of fun to drive.
All maintenance is up to date, with records that go back to new (we're third owner). Always had the right oil, filters, etc. changed on time.
Battery after sitting for a few hours is at 12.65V.
Timing belt was done about 20K miles ago - boraparts kit with timing set by VCDS.
A couple of "dings": some road line paint got splashed onto the paint (and that stuff sticks); bumper cover bumped into a trailer hitch ball and was patched up - invisible from a distance, but up close you can notice it.

Car is currently licensed and located on Vancouver Island, but we're heading down to Portland, OR, on October 10 weekend and would be willing to deliver along I-5 as far south as that (subject to agreeing on down-payment and some import conditions).
Bonus to buyer who meets asking price: Lighted Rieger leather shift knob/boot
