I'm moving away from the lego mounted galaxy note 2. The BT ELM adaptor won't pair with the iPhone, go figure. So i need to get a wifi based dongle, and an app.

I was thinking of Dash Commander, but didn't really like it on Android. Would be nice if TorqApp was ported, but oh well.

What are other folks using with their iPhone?

The lego bracket i built needs a redesign since the old one fell apart. Get's a bit hot under the greenhouse front windshield, so i was thinking just having it all on my iPhone.

DashCommander for iOS works with no SIM (verified). I've used it with success, but my iPhone 4 (old phone) is too slow to reliably hold the data connection. If too many gauges are displayed and change at the same time, the app hangs, sometimes long enough to interrupt the connection.
