I recently have had my car to the aligment shop to have it inspected. He found it needed a tie rod and ball joint. I just dont see this causing the issue I've been having.

One day I was driving to work and all of a sudden the steering wheel started jerking to the left. It would only jerk when you let off the pedal. To get out of it I just accelerated and it goes away. Some days its better that others. It has always made a squeaky sound even after i had all the struts replaced. I'm scheduled to have it in this saturday to have the tie rod and ball joint replaced. Would a bad tie rod explain the jerky steering?
