I’m in SoCal. I have a 2000 Jetta 4dr Audi Grey with a tan interior registered in AZ till July 2019 Bought of the second owner in Az 2014. He has done a lot of work. Rebuilt the auto trans, front end to name a few. He broke a belt and sucked a few valves. Franks in MN rebuilt the head, new cam, replaced bad valves, new belt, new water pump, tensioner and pulleys. Fuel pump rebuilt by Wild Rose in Fullerton, new axles and boots. Recent trip to Winslow AZ. 247k miles, few EGR codes, thus AZ tags, $35 for 2 years, Air did work doesn’t now, the gas gauge doesn’t work when we replaced the lift pump, have new light lenses for it and factory cut tint I haven’t placed on yet.
