I know the question of what to do with the glycerine has been handled already:

Two other byproducts still result. One, is the soapy water, which I've just been pouring to the drain. But the other one is the white stuff, which is sort of like a semi-curdled, heavy cream. From a test batch, I have a couple cups worth of this stuff. I intend to let it dry out in the sunshine.

Any suggestions as to what else to do with it? Are there any practical applications?

James, when I have an emulsified layer (heavy cream), I dispense it into a carboy and let it sit until my next batch. It will usually settle pretty well into about 1/5 biodiesel on top and 4/5 soapy water on the bottom. I siphon off the biodiesel layer and add it to the wash of the next batch. The soapy water goes down the drain.

Some hot water or salt water will help break the emulsion layer, also.

So you're saying that the heavy cream will eventually settle out? OK, so I can use the top biodiesel layer and put it into the next batch at wash time. But what about what's left over? Does that part of the heavy cream eventually just become soapy water?
