If I could only fold up and fit a SS exhaust in checked baggage like a pair of pants...

Yes sir it does. I can build it any way you wish. I found on my MK5 Jetta, with no resonator on the downpipe, I had zero noise change in the car except for a hint of turbo whistle. -Ken

What the cost on a 05.5 mkv jetta looking for a 2.5dp with 3inch rest of the way with resonator

BRM downpipe will be done by the end of January. The whole system will be considerably cheaper than anything else available.

Hey Buzzken.

Any further development on the B5.5 exhaust? Anxiously waiting! :) Thanks!

Hi, nothing yet unfortunately. I'm allergic to intercooler icing, engine hydrolocking and cracked dpf's, so that has taken priority for a little bit. Still trying to arrange an automatic b5.5 to be at my disposal in the Toronto area for a week or so.

Thinking of getting a 2.5" DP/exhaust for my mk4 golf, i dont think i would need a 3" as i never plan on going bigger than a 17 turbo.... sound reasonable?

What setup do you recommend for a 02 jetta tdi? Is 3in too big for stock, I plan on upgrading everything(turbo, injectors, tune) down the road.

2.5" with 2 resonators is the most common setup and is realistically more than big enough for what you will need. $680 shipped. -Ken

For a MK4? there are some pics of mine, 2.5" with 2 resonators post #112 here page 8
I looked at your post... with two resonators you were getting drone.

Questions:

How bad is the drone, like easily diminished with slight radio volume or do you have to turn it up pretty loud?

If i was to buy the setup, i was thinking of straight into the stock muffler with buzzken's kit. How do you think the sound would be, anyone?
