Dirtbike towing?

got my carrier, ecohitch and bags are on the way... so ill keep this updated with progress / photos as things come along.

ecohitch installed.. i put the bumper on last night so i will get some better pictures up soon. not impressed with the amount of play right now, though i did not completely tighten the bolt for the anti wobble device.

the carrier sticks out about 5" on each side- its barely noticeable but definitely have to watch out when parking

Looks like you might consider a modified s curve to lift the tray. When I had my tray done (previios post picture) they did not put the 10* upward tilt on as instructed. It still. is night and day clearance differences

i dont foresee any clearance issues.. the rack sits fairly level with minimal, if any sag even with 340 pounds, exceeding the 300 pound tongue weight limit.

I can't remember if you mentioned: what did you do to stiffen up the rear suspension so you don't get sag from all that weight behind the rear axle?

i bought an air lift kit.

Nice - I put those on my GSW, too, and even with just a 32lb. bike rack and 15lb. road bike, they AirLift bags make a huge difference.

did you get just the rear kit? i got the full kit... may as well drop the hell out of it while i am at it.

Yeah - just the rear kit (AirLift 1000 - #80753) for me. My support needs aren't anywhere close to what you're hauling.
