So I want to build compound turbo system for my 1.6td. I was thinking about running a gt1749v being fed by a hy35 or t3 td05 20g. Gt1749 would be the primary turbo, I have heard that that turbo might be to small for a primary. So my quetion would be is a gt1749 being fed buy a hy35 or t3 td05 20g good system or not. I'm kinda new to compounds so Any info helps. Also what are people running out there as for compounds for 1.6td. I live in co so,that's why I want the vnt as the primary. I have a 35mm watgate that I was going to use to keep the back pressure down on the gt1749. But if the trubo is not sized right then I'll use it for something else.
