That would depend on what standards Maryland adopts for diesel testing and how your car is tuned. Come on up to ImpexFest and talk with Jeff (Rocket Chip) and Oliver (TDIRacing).

Yes, he is one of the most knowledgeable TDI mechanics around. I would not have recommended him otherwise.

My '04 Beetle BEW used to smoke real bad at WOT until I had the TB service at a referred TDI guru in Kanapolis NC. They set everything up to spec and for the life of me I can't make it smoke. Smoke is just wasted fuel if you can't get enough air in to make it burn.
