my 2001 golf tdi is going in next week to the vw dealer for its' 60k timing belt change and i want to be sure that it runs as well after the change as it does now. the last tdi i had never ran as strong as it had before the belt change and i'm sure it had to do with the injector pump settings being changed. what is considered to be the "optimal" setting for performance rather than the "recommended" setting for emissions? i would like to make sure that the dealer knows the difference. any input would be appreciated.
