BHW Torsion Value

2003 A6 Avant BHW 6 speed manual, 2003 Golf ALH 506k miles
I've read that the ideal value should be either 0 or +.5. What do most people think will optimize the mileage? Will a -.5 make a big difference in the mpg's?

Going negtive can help MPG but typically starts getting a little sluggish compared to going positive. Pick your poison. Neither situation is dramatic if you are running a stock cam

For just a 0.5° difference, I would suggest to leave it alone.
