I purchased this car at 20,000 miles from the original owner, a VW Dealer at Northtown VW in Gladstone, Mo. It currently has 213,500 miles. I have been following the TDI Club Forum since my purchase and have used the information shared on the forum to keep this vehicle maintained and operational. There is normal wear on the interior and the exterior is in good shape.
Besides normal maintenance, oil and filter changes, EGR & snow screen cleaning, TSB's, recalls, alignments, rotors and brake shoes etc. the following upgrades and repairs have been done:
Includes original Vag Com Hex+Can USB cable
84,060 Balance Shaft retrofit
100,872 Motor Mounts and front axles
110,000 Euro Light Switch and HID's in the projectors
120,600 Intercooler Hoses top and bottom
145,441 Tie Rods and Trans Flush
155,227 Heater Core
185,763 Timing belt, power steering & alt belt, roller, tensioner, water pump, cam seal.
193,554 Left front fender replaced-paint bubbling, replaced vacuum pump and valve cover gasket
197,431 Total Rebuild of the transmission
Current issues:
-Coolant leak at the rear of the engine.
-Window tint peeling off.
-OEM radio CD player doesn't work (sitting in the trunk). Currently has aftermarket radio installed.
-a Vag Com scan shown the driver side window regulator is faulty but it is intermittent
