Touareg 14 to16, How many of us are there?

I have had my new to me 2015 Treg for 30 days. This is one of the nicest rides I have ever had.
After driving back from Colorado in it, 950 miles, I Started watching for other Tregs. I didn't see not one all the way back!

Question, does anyone have any stats on how many 2014 to 2016 TReg TDI's are on the road?

Is there also a breakdown of how many per region?
I found it strange that I didnt see any on the road.

Since this spring (2018) - I've personally noticed an increase in the number of TRegs (2010-2017) in my neighborhood. Either that - or I notice them more now that I finally own one. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Sold my 2012 TDI back to VW and found a "new" 2016 with a 1000 miles and never registered. I'm set for quite a while now. Best car VW has offered since Phaeton. I'm a happy camper.

We bought ours in January of 2017, a few days before the fix was announced. Its a 2014 with about 135k on the clock. We've owned it since 110k. No issues at all except for a clogged A/C drain (flap stuck closed) and one occurrence of gelled fuel last winter. We did have the fix done about 10k miles ago I believe. Its an impressive vehicle and I love the powertrain.

they arent as popular here at all...but they are costly, and from what ive heard there are only 500 a year in canada...and i believe someone said 5000 total in north america

Well it is one of the best driving and tow rated vehicle that I have ever had. I have had several. Was not familiar with them till i started trading in my 2.0 tdi's

I am a little puzzled that i dont see any on the road and i have been looking.

Well best info is always at your fingertips. Just googled the following. No wonder i dont see to many of these Tregs on the road.

It's clear most people bgt the TREG for the TDI engine, When it was banned no interest or much less. They stopped building the 16s sometime in 2016 and could not sell them until this yr after the fix was approved. Don't get me started on VW and the EPA,not going that way any more.

I just purchased a like new 2014 Touareg TDI R Line about a month ago. My 3rd TDI and 4th VW. Like you this is the best car I have ever had. I purchased it with intent to tow a camper. I swore I would never drive an auto or and SUV but I could not be happier. I am in north Georgia...Jeep land (gross).

I just picked up a 2014 TDI with 35k on it. Love it! Excited to do all my own maintenance on it at 40k

Got my Touareg early this month, have over 1000 miles on it already. It is a 2015 tdi lux and had 33,680 miles on it when I got it. Never could have afforded it when it was new.
Traded in my 2014 gmc denali on it which I got when I lost my 2013 jetta tdi 6spd manual with the recall, never thought I would find another vw I liked but this touareg is fun to drive and it suits my needs for 4 wheel drive and comfort. Yes there have been a couple minor bumps with it but nothing to really care about. One was the def heater replace and the other was dash lights not working.

My 2014 Executive with 35,000 miles on it. The emissions fix has been done and the car is amazing. My wife has a gorgeous 2011 Executive, and they look amazing sitting side by side in the driveway!
