WTB: Mk V Jetta

Looking for a Mk V Jetta for my college age son.

He recently learned how to operate a manual so either a manual or DSG will be fine. Car does not have to be perfect, but I'm not looking for a project either. I'm hoping to find something under $5K.

I'm located in South East PA (near Reading) and willing to travel a reasonable distance.

This morning I put money down on a 2006 Jetta TDI pkg 2 at a local used car lot after I talked him down to $4k. Car has a 5 spd manual, 232K miles. Cam and timing belt done 30K ago. 50K miles on clutch and SMF. Clean carfax.

No observable issues or odd noises during test drive.
I think I did OK.
