Cold Weather Intercooler kit

I'm having install the new Intercooler for cold climate this afternoon at my VW dealer. I was having some big problem to start and to had a normal idle in the cold morning of Montreal. I was wondering if someone had the same part installed and if this fix the water in the intercooler?

I really hope this fix will resolve my problem for ever.

I had the fix last winter. I have one episode this winter of a rough start. Last winter on one occasion it wouldn't start at all. I found water in the line after the rough start this winter. VW technician looked at it and gave no additional solution. I currently have all the parts to install a drain fashioned off Micron2 design. There are lots of threads showing this fix. I will probably install over this summer.
