Good Bye

Unfortunately my 2015 Passat SEL tdi was totaled in an accident a couple of weeks ago.
I'm going to miss my TDI...really enjoyed this one and the 2 prior ones that I had.
I will be lurching around in the TDI forum to keep up with all the news.
Thanks to the members who gave me advice, help, etc. in the past.

what are you picking up to replace it?

what did insurance give you for a payout?

I would imagine you could find another 2015 Passat TDI buyback car at a local dealer if you wanted one.

The insurance company paid out $17686 for a clean car with 44K miles.
Wanted something different, drove Toyota, Nissan, Subaru.
Ended up with a new 2020 Subaru Forester Touring.
Its a nice ride with very good reviews.

That sounds like a very generous payout compared to what I’m seeing for value on mine right now. The Subaru’s are great cars, enjoy!
