I have a Ross Tech Hex Can, laptop with latest Ross Tech software and a Bentley for mk4

I have the HEX-USB+CAN cable and software
I've had it for a while but have only really used it to check timing and codes. Dont know how to do much more then that with it lol
I also have the locking tools needed for a timing belt change on mk4's
I live in Kenosha, WI 53140 if anyone ever needs to use one in my area

if so, I could definitely use a scan. will buy someone supper. I am in Cooke City area, MN today.

going to be in sturgis SD and mount rushmore tomorrow.

then make my way towards Anaheim, CA (disneyland)

ive got nothing but time so dont mind making an hour or 2 detour to get my car looked at if someone is interested and near my route would be awesome!

I have VCDS HEX+CAN-USB and LapTop with ALH timing belt tools. I've done about 6 TB jobs with no problems Since I learned my lesson on "PROTHE" parts my first go around. More than willing to help.

Ross-tech KII-USB W/laptop & VCDS as well as a VAG-COM reader.

I am 15 min south of Rock Hill, SC

I'm new to the VCDS system, as I got it to fix my '01 IP issues, But I am willing to hook up and read whatever info your VW is willing to give.

I only knew to get these necessary tools due to this forum so as repayment I offer them to others for trouble shooting.

TDI recall

I took my 2010 Jetta TDI to a recent recall that was to update the "computer" it seems like it gets less MPG. Does anybody know of updates yet that dowgrade MPG or am I just paranoid?

Compatibility:
This interface works with all diagnostic-capable VW, Audi, Seat, and Skoda models from 1990 through 2016.

2001 beetle tdi alh ... timing belt at 300k ... replaced studs ..water pump and.. I slightly advanced cam timing
by locking the flywheel indexing mark clockwise to mark on bellhousing with cam locked straight up.
