My Passat has just turned 26K and when June 21 comes around it won't have more than 26.5K miles on it. I'm driving my 2003 Jetta until then, or maybe later.

Another 2013 TDI SEL 67,000 miles and, except for the heater core, no issues.
Still on original continental tires and brakes...

2013 TDI SE 114,000 only issue being the a/c just quit. Between the upcoming dsg and timing belt service I may send it on down the road.

62K miles, bought new in January 2014.

Only issue is the AC stopped working a couple of weeks ago so going to get the RCV swapped out.

Just shy of 48K. We will be driving it until the last available date for the buyback, sometime in Dec. 2018. It's been a great car, apart from the rear NOx sensor crapping out the second Winter, fixed under warranty. Someone called these cars "unicorns," since they never should have existed, but we will sure miss the fuel efficiency.

96,000. Bought it used a year ago with 72,000 but have all the service records. Only significant issue was AdBlue heater replaced under warranty. Tires replaced of course, but no record of any brakes, they appear to be original. I did put shocks on it, I was getting cupping on rear tires, that seems to have solved it, but it could have been bad alignment work, hard to know.

I'm pretty sure I will drive it in until Sep 2018, at which point it will be at 140 - 145k. I'll push the timing belt that far, and either take the fix to pay for that, or turn it in.

I've always driven CHEAP cars (too many years in Corollas to count). So the Passat is a joy to drive, I have been very happy with it. 6 spd MT is fun to drive.

Well folks, this will be my last post on this thread I started quite a few years ago since I will be turning in my Passat to VW tomorrow for the buyback. Final count 106k ! Did all my own maintenance over the years, no turbo failure no hpfp issues so I’m thankful. I love this car and hate to see it go but the offer is too good to pass up. I would love to get another tdi but for the past few years I have been driving a company vehicle for my commute and don’t really need the added headaches of a barely driven TDI. I’m not sure what the replacement will be as I have a backup car so I’m in no rush. How are the gasoline golf wagons these days ? This forum was beyond helpful and a huge learning experience throughout my tdi ownership and I thank everybody who participated in this amazing forum.

Have now passed 70K, had the OC done then which will be the last maintenance performed on our Passat before we turn it in. It's been a great car for the past 5 years, and I'm not really looking forward to new car shopping, but that's what we'll do, starting in May. Once we find what we want, we'll get a buyback appointment on the Passat, and probably just go through Costco to close the deal on the new one; I don't care to haggle.

Gasoline wagons are still VW's so take that for what it's worth. ;)

I'm able to squeeze 30-31MPG out of our Alltrack, but mostly is 26-29 but that's 4mo. The FWD have shown to get solid 40 on the highways.

The TSI is a great little power plant but longevity is still really out on serious miles. Rumors of intake clogging and rear main seals are the big issues I've heard of. It is a chain system so thats going to be an issue at some point who knows when. It's pretty sweet to get almost instant heat.

Bought mine with 34.5k miles 4 months ago and I'm at 45k miles now. I'll probably put in about 27k miles throughout the year. I'm loving the car!

Ohhh I've seen 17 Alltrack S go for not too much more than that new. Do a search, some areas have heavy discounts some prices are holding steady.

7-8K off older 17 4Mo wasn't uncommon beginning of the year, the new Tiqqys are scalping all the wagon sales. If you can hold out later over the summer and you should find some killer deals.

I've owned 4 Passat TDIs and my son picked up his first TDI last week so here is the total mileage.

1997 Passat TDI: 308k miles when it was wrecked.

1996 Passat TDI: replacement to the 97, 112k miles when I bought it, sold at 375k miles. It still on the road out west somewhere pushing 500k miles.

2014 Passat TDI SE 6-speed manual: sold back to VW at 109k miles.

2015 Passat TDI SE 6-speed manual: 28k miles on it when I bought it, 55k miles on it now.

2015 Passat TDI SEL Premium (son's car): 25k miles.

:)
