Went to change oil & filter and found out Kragen auto parts doubled the filter price. Now $25.99. Any good fair suppliers or is a modification possible to use somethig less expensive. Thanks Russ

Even the dealer doesn't charge even close to that. I buy mine online from tdiparts.com.

It strikes me as odd how much y'all are willing to pay for the most basic parts when you can buy OE oil filters for $6. Why settle for no-name brands at hyper-inflated pricing
