Default HELP - Brake indicator light flashhes with dinging

2005 Jetta GLS (old body style) Getting the loud dinging and BRAKE indicator light flashing while driving.. Usually when accelerating quicker or turning harder than normal.. and... It is getting more frequent.

Any ideas?? -Can this be something to do with the recall for the brake switch?

Thanks in advance, Derry

Did you check your brake fluid level?

Yep,check your brake fluid level, you are probably due to do either front or rear pads or you have fluid leak.

Thanks for the rapid response..

I feel like an idiot.. not because I didnt know this when it 1st started happening, but I just put in a frostheater and after I refilled coolant and drove it I got the dinging with the coolant indicator and I knew that was because it was low....DOH!

Thanks again..
