Les, I have a couple questions. Couldn't find the answers I need by reading this thread

Exactly what parts are included in the CR170 "Kit"?

What size is the cat-back exhaust included in this sale, 2.5" or 3" ?

Does the clutch upgrade include the SM flywheel as well?

Maybe you know something I don't? Or did you fail to read the questions I asked.

None of the information I've specifically asked about is in this thread or the flow chart. I'm doing some of this install myself, so I need to know what parts and associated hardware is included in this deal.

The "kit" includes the turbo, turbo inlet pipe, and all necessary gaskets, orings block plate and hardware.

The catback is optional and of your choice. It will be an addition to the exhaust kit. Available options are 2.5" or 3".

This is why we include the notation box at the end. Please note any questions in there as we will be contacting everyone individually before accepting a deposit, to be sure to get you exactly what you want.

Yes the clutch does include the SMF

Just a note to check page 1 again as it now has a pic of all that is included in the turbo kit. Also the page allows you to opt for just the turbo kit alone.

Thanks for the great feedback guys. We have 8 kits left from the first skid of turbos ordered. If we get enough orders we will put in a preorderfor another skid.....

All the turbo kits are spoken for. We will be getting one more shipment in but they will not arrive until late spring early summer. We will give you a rough ETA when replying to your order.

Has anybody been contacted yet about their order? I submitted my order form for a turbo, catback and other misc. parts over three weeks ago.

I haven't received any phone calls or emails regarding this purchase, or received any purchase invoices. No return correspondence or contact whatsoever.

Les has been slammed with orders. He's been working on this project day and night. He's making sure he's keeping extra inventory to fill all the orders within a reasonable time. You should hear from him shortly!

It's amazing our testing at the track yesterday I turned a 14.5 quarter spinning tires at 96 mph car is amazing thanks LES.I can't wait to see what this CR-170 will do on the next tweak and my new tires.Driving home averaged 40 mpg at 80 mph.

We have been seeing 1680 to 1760 on EGT
Boost can be set at 24 (spike 27) or 27 (spike 30)
WHP with custom tune: 200
Not sure the VAG # they are BW # ending in 207

Thanks for such fast reply. I thought you were selling GTC1549VZ (EU CR170 turbo) but looks like you are selling BW KKKBV43 which does not work for me.

I am not sure where that part number comes from but from our part number database that turbo (GTC1549VC) is not even applicable to the CR 2.0L engine.

GTC1549VZ comes from 2.0L CFGB engine

I am sorry, after more research that does come up as a VAG turbo but good luck mounting it to a CR140. I believe that turbo has oval exhaust ports (CR177 in Europe) and a CR140 will have round exhaust ports

If you want something to fit that engine you would be better off getting part #04L253010H as it is rated for 190BHP instead of 177.
