Found an interesting note from the US embassy in Germany, which I would like to share with you.
"German manufacturers appear to be leaving the rest of the world behind in the research and developement of high-tech diesels, which have become super efficient in fuel consumtion."

Sounds about right.
Didn’t you know that’s our master plan, get the Germans make the basic engines let them ship them to us and we’ll get the last bit out of them. Saves us loads of time only having to develop the performance mods

Plus, there is no need for Lucas ignition systems in a diesel engine! Huzza! Hoorah! (That probably explains the double-decker buses: Everyone's car is broken down.)

"Experts believe that DaimlerChrysler will soon equip the light Dodge trucks (pick-ups) and off-road vehicles with powerful diesel engines, in order to combat sales of Japanese diesel vehicles in Africa and South America"

OK, Where should I move to?
