This hearkens back to the "all the zinc (or phosphorus) has been removed" discussion when CJ-4 came out. Nevermind CJ-4 has more ZDDP than 505.00, 505.01, 506.00, 506.01 or 507.00.

Given the huge popularity of RTS and T6, I'm not surprised you see more failed turbos having been run with it. It's a matter of sheer numbers, not indicative of performance.

The statement says Shell Rotella, Not Shell Rotella T6- So in using Shell Rotella(dino oil) your turbo will likely fail, Luckily most of us who use Rotella use T6, full synthetic oil. What they say is misleading
